Jump In for Justice: Pajama Bounce and Book Drive

  • Back to Calendar

Jump In for Justice events engage families with young children, ages 3-6, in hands-on social action experiences that emphasize the important role little hands can have in making a difference in the world. These unique family events underscore the Jewish value of “tikkun olam” and support parents in nurturing their child’s sensitivity towards the needs of others.

Pajama Bounce and Book Drive:

3 ways to participate:

  • DONATE new PJs and books at participating locations. Items collected support The Pajama Program, an organization helping to make ‘better bedtimes’ for at risk children across Long Island.
  • PLAY at our Pump It Up family event on March 18. Bounce, play, eat pizza and learn more about giving back and helping others in an age-appropriate way. Register early, space is limited!
  • CONNECT with other families at book-based programs, field trips, pajama-yoga play dates and other family events. See below for an updated list of participating sites.

This Jump In for Justice program is offered in partnership with The PJ Library and through the collaboration of several PJ Library locations across LI. The PJ Library is delivers, free high-quality Jewish books and music each month to families raising Jewish children ages six months through eight years. Click here to find a PJ Library location near you!
