Beth El Synagogue Center's Interactive Family Emails

The Jewish Education Project is strengthening our communities' Chanukah celebrations!  Here is one way we are doing it.

After many conversations about social media and using email as a tool to engage families through age appropriate and interactive communications, Beth El Synagogue Center in New Rochelle decided to ramp up the email newsletter for their early childhood parents.  Their December / Chanukah email included videos, a "jibjab" dance video starring synagogue clergy, a list of community members' favorite Chanukah songs collected on their Facebook page, and trivia games and activities for children.  The email's relevant and engaging content enhanced family and community Chanukah celebrations.
